Why did you choose a Windows Phone?

I got a windows phone because that's what I've always had. I had a Sprint Mogul before switching to AT& T. I was looking at the iphone but it just wasn't that impressive to me. Making the jump from Windows mobile 6.0 to the new 7 was sort of difficult but it was worth it.

from andorid to wp - best move ever!

I initially got a Windows Phone (HTC HD7) cuz I was switching from Sprint to TMobile (which was the WRONG move)..I wanted the LG Gx2 (?) but it was completely soled out in Michigan..so the only thing that was available in my price range, and had close to the same specs was the HTC HD7. Now I had never used or even seen a Windows Phone, but I heard they were horrible.. But I decided to give a shot anyway. I was so happy that I made that switch. I was tired of Android's constant "forced closed" apps, and horrible battery life. I've had the Moment, LG Optimus, Transform, Echo, and have used the Evo.. When it comes to functionality, Android and Windows are like night and day. I've never had a battery issue, a force closed app, or any problem. Imma WP fanatic. I just wish u could do more with the background and metro tiles..but im sure WP8 will have that fixed.

I LOVE my Windows phone, HTC Titan, awesome phone. I had a Cingular phone that had "medianet" as its internet and it was horrible. I said the next phone I get has to have explorer on it or I dont want it. Then we heard Windows has a phone coming out, we looked into it, got it and my wife & I love it. We thought what could they do to improve on this product, but they have and will be improving in the future. Even my 11 year old daughter has a windows phone, just trying to bring her up right!!!

I choose Windows Phone because I was ready for a smart phone and WP7 had my attention. I liked its "anti-icon grid" approach. I'm also somewhat of a Microsoft fanboy, but if It wasn't different I wouldn't have considered it at all.
